Toppik may even work with borderline Norwood 6
Because there technically is "hair" all over, Toppik really works, I have been using it for 10 years now. Saw an article/ad in U.S. News and World Report for it back then and it was inexpensive enough that I got it on a lark and even my wife and best friend (who sports the "shaved head" look) were impressed with it. However, for someone in this situation, you do need to be careful: 1) It will not work for swimming, and in heavy rain you will need an umbrella as it may leave little "run spots" that will look weird. However, regarding swimming, I have tried going in water and "dunk" myself with no one around and as long as I didn't touch my hair (which would then produce "run spots") it dried OK. Amazing! 2) If you have any area with no hairs at all, it will look like "paint", especially in the hairline area. But if you brush and style carefully, only someone who is truly, completely bald (and by this I mean not even vellus hairs) will not be able to use it. Great, amazing product!
