My TE so far

(Manila, Philippines)

I'm a 27 y.o. female right now going thru TE. Three months ago, I was down with Dengue Fever which I believe to have triggered the TE.

Over the last 4 weeks or so, I've noticed that the shower sink, my hairbrush, and my pillow have been collecting more than its ordinary share of shed hair.

Its not the first time that my hair has shed more than ordinary, but those other two times happened over seven years ago and in both cases, went away quietly. This time, I can't help but be concerned so I looked it up on and came across this site.

This site has explained so much and it all made sense to me. I'm now taking extra precaution by reducing the shampooing by 50% (I normally shampoo twice a day, everyday) as I patiently wait for this phase to pass.

I hope this site helps many more people going thru the same thing.
