My lovely locks
by claire
i noticed extra amounts of hair in my brush, and my plug in my shower had enough hair to cover 10 barbies! very scary,i could phiscally feel tingeling over my scalp it sounds mad but i could and was so stressed about it. i went private harley street, had blood test and hair samples ,i came back with very low iron,B12,ferriten. i was put on tablets for iron and b12. a year later went back and my levels were fine so that bit was fixed ,as i was feeling very tired before the iron and b12 tablets. i felt much better in that respect. but the hair was still coming out not as much as it was as i was loosing stupid amounts over 150 a day.! so now it was down to around 20/30 maybe less. He said i was still in the shedding stage and gave me 6 weeks injections of Vitamin K and Bpanthomol in the bum for 6 weeks. results now ( over 2 years on ) back to nearly normal id say, still more hairs coming out than before all the problems but so much better than before, so id say im near as dam it fixed, but have lost half my hair from my scalp. i put this whole thing down to stress from splitting up from boyfriend, but then my iron and b12 were low as well so maybe that played a point aswell. i say go private see a tricologist,,get hair samples, blood tests. gps dont normally help that much as you need to see someone in special field, stress IS SO bad for the body but one thing you cant help . regards claire |
