My 6 month experience with Provillus

by Rodney
(Illinois, USA)

Hello everyone here I would like to share about my experiences with Provillus. I am from Illinois and I am currently 25 and I would say I am a young and energetic male that is currently going for my law degree in D.C.

I have always been happy with my life leaving out the occasional sorrows but most of the time, I would say that life has been very good to me. However, I guess no one is perfect as for my situation, I started losing my hair at the age of 21 when I noticed some thinning on the top and front part of my scalp. Right then, it struck me that both sides of my family have issues with hair loss and I was really afraid to be bald at my age. It was then I started to find ways to seek hair loss treatments to resolve this problem.

From shampoos, lotions, potions, herbal remedies and all kind of ways possible to get my hair to grow was tried and none of them work! I haven’t tried Propecia as I am a little worried about the side effects that people mentioned therefore I skipped that treatment. However, anything you can get from the counter, I tried most of them.

Just 6 months ago, I came across a product called Provillus from the web when I was researching more information on hair loss. At that time, it seems there are a lot of site are promoting this particular product all over the web and I thought that it might be possible a breakthrough for getting my hair to grow. Now, I am not expecting for a complete recovery as I am already thinning real bad around Norwood 4 but I thought if I can get some hair to grow back to Norwood 3 or so will definitely be something.

What got me interested with Provillus is that I read about the product that it contains a lot of natural herbs like Saw Palmetto and Nettle Root that a lot of experts mentioned that they can naturally reduce DHT in the scalp that causes MPB. Besides that, I also saw that this supplement contains a lot of vitamins and herbs with funny names that are kind of essential for hair growth. So I thought, what the heck, I’ve got nothing much to lose anyway.

I’ve ordered a 6 bottles pack for around USD 160 or so if I can remember and used it every day as stated (2 capsules) and right about the 3rd month, I could see lesser hair loss. Well, not a significant amount but it does look that the hair loss is slowing down. That’s actually great news for me as I have not seen much improvement when I tried other treatments before so I continued to take it until last month when my bottles were starting to run out.

At the 6th month of using Provillus, I would say that any new hair growth from my initial usage was almost zero or negligible. However, this supplement does indeed make me feel that it helps slow down hair loss compared to other over the counter shampoos. I can see some of my remaining hairs still staying on my head and the hair line is not really receding back.

My conclusion is, Provillus can be considered a good supplement to have to help maintain your hair but I would want to look for other alternatives that can actually grow hair instead of just keeping it. At Norwood 4, I guess keeping my hair isn’t going to stop people from staring and commenting on my head. I think that if you can fork out for this kind of expensive supplement (around USD 30 per bottle), be my guest but I also know there are also a lot of similar supplements that have the same stuff for a much lesser price. By the way, I didn’t post any before and after pictures because there is really not much difference 6 months ago and now. I would still consider giving it a try for another 3 months before I get my guts and try Propecia. Hope this review helps those who are considering Provillus!
