I've been suffering for more than a year now!
About eight months after the break up, my hair started falling out in clumps. It would not stop. I went through great stress trying to figure out what was going on and trying desperately to stop my hair from diffusing. It was awful!! After 6 months of constant hair loss, I was desperate for a solution. My hair looked so thin that it looked awful. I found a place that did hair extensions and got hair extensions to hide the thinness of my hair. I have been going to doctors for a year trying to get diagnosis. Doctors keep telling me my hair will grow back. But it hasn't at all and it keeps falling out. My scalp is also itchy and has red spots all over it. I just want my hair to grow back so much!! The extensions are helping the appearance of my hair but I want my real hair back! If any of you have a solution, please post it. Thanks Editor’s Comments, Looks like classic case of Telogen Effluvium to me. Your doctors are right and the hair loss is most probably caused by the emotional stress. You will find that once you have healed your emotional issues, your hair will gradually recover over time. Patience is always the key. Try taking Vitamin Bs as they are good anti-depressants and also hair stimulants. Good luck there. |
