I just want my hair back!
by Jennifer
Well I didn't really notice my hair fall out right away and when I brought it up to my mom who is a nurse she said it was my diet and losing the weight that I lost which made sense and then I eventually had my thyroid checked and it was normal. So then it took me a while to figure out that I was actually having all these other side effects and they were all from the Ocella generic birth control. So I finally figured out that is most likely what was cauging the hair loss. I just finally like two weeks ago got switched to Provera the pill form and it took me a little bit to get used to and I've only been on it for two weeks but I just noticed YESTERDAY that I have little hair buds sticking out at the top growing. My mom pointed them out because I was telling her how frustrated I was that nothing has changed or is happening visually yet but she said it will take a while for my hair to grow back. It has been a very rough road for me you don't realize how much just having a normal healthy head of hair can effect your confidence and overall stress. It makes you go crazy! Not only that but just my hormones from being on that stupid generic piece of crap. Sorry but don't EVER use generic birth control it is the worst! Best advice I can give I wish I would have NEVER switched over. Now I am going to just pray that my hair grows back normal and I will continue to be patient! :) |
