experiencing diffused hair thining .

Hello. I am 21 yrs old male.my story goes on sth this way. Usually I have an oily scalp with oily dandruff repeatedly occurring after couple days from washing hair with an anti dandruff shampoo. I had hair fall in somewhat excess amount before a couple of yrs back but that never affected my volume of hair.

But lately few months; somewhat 5 to 6 months I detected thinning of my scalp region mostly like diffused manner of hair loss and principally the crown of my scalp was most visibly thin. I felt so devastated as I never imagined myself being that helpless situation.

I shaved my hair around April of this year so that I could at least get rid of seeing the hair fall and mostly the visible scalp. I realized after a lot of searching on net thanks to internet that I am suffering from telogen effluvium next I tried to check my iron levels, thyroid etc. but all were fine.

Later I realized it may be of my working out at gyms few months before I had thinning of my hair a possible cause for my hair loss supported by my some friends too going to the gym suffered the same thinning of hair. Whatever the reasons may be but the situation now is now its July till now many of the telegenic hair are in the rudimentary stage. I have been also simultaneously suffering from cracked heel, which disappeared soon after taking multivitamin tablets. Hoping telogen could too disappear after taking vit tablets. The hair loss is really wrecking out my life and my confidence.

Editor’s Comments,

Hi there,

I might suggest that you should double check to see whether your condition is really Telogen Effluvium. Most hair loss sufferers your age tend to get confused over Telogen Effluvium and Male Pattern Baldness.

As most cases of MPB starts during your age, there is also a possibility that you might be facing with genetic hair loss instead of Telogen Effluvium. You should also know that some genetic hair loss patterns can also resemble diffuse thinning especially if the hair loss is located at the top of the crown area.

You might want to consult your doctor to confirm and it’s best to start treatment early if it is. All the best!
