Death of a friend leads to hair loss
by Sandra
This August, my best friend died unexpectedly in a car crash. The grief was overwhelming and I was bereaved for months. Now, about three weeks ago my hair began suddenly coming out in handfuls again. I was diagnosed in the past with Telegan Effluvium, so I'm not worried about it. Basically, my hair will shed for a month or two (sometimes longer) and it will get very thin. Then it will begin to grow again. It looks awful with long hair for me, so when I go through these stressful times with hair loss, I cut it to chin length. |
