Burt's Bees, Aubrey, John Masters, Fresh, & Pantene Shampoos

by Lisa F.

I don't have a hair loss problem, but if I keep using Burt's Bees or Aubrey, there will be a problem. These 2 shampoos made a lot of my hair come out. I counted 60-70 strands. My husband also experienced similar hair loss. I'm surprised to see these shampoos on your list. I'm now using John Masters organic shampoo, which doesn't cause as much of my hair to come off, but still more than I'd like.

I used to use Fresh shampoos which were great in retaining hair, but it contains methylparaben. I tried Pantene for a few days and had just the normal amount of hair come out - 20 - 30 strands. It was actually better than Fresh at hair retention, but the ingredients are not good.
