Story of Idit

Idit suffered from Alopecia Areata when she was just 9 years old when her mother discovered a round bald patch at the back of her head when she was routinely looking for lice. The patches deteriorated and spread throughout the back of her scalp. She went to numerous doctors and tried methods remedies like applying garlic, onions and traditional medications but with no effect. Soon her entire scalp hair was lost till she was totally bald. Her hair loss was not only isolated on the scalp but throughout the face as well, a condition of AA known as Alopecia Totalis. Dr. Shmuel Gonen talks about his successes in reversing her condition and also of other fellow patients.
